Welcome to the writings of TD Marant.  I live by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” For me, it fits perfectly. In my years as a nurse I have witnessed many types of illness and trauma. In my life experience I have also suffered many types of trauma and abuse. As a creative writer I came to the conclusion that there is a way to bring these issues into the light in books geared toward different age groups, from the very young with illness and trauma to the adult child who may still be suffering. What I write comes from a perspective of both observer and caregiver.​

My books bring to light simple stories from children suffering from disease and abuse to learning about the human body, how it works, why wash your hands, etc., and understanding common diseases in grownups that children may encounter.

For the older pre-teen I write of difficult subjects of abuse, peer pressure, what can happen when you cannot say no, divorce, alcoholic parents, just to name a few.​

For the adult I write concerning abuses in childhood that have carried into adulthood and offer recovery suggestions. I also write about coping with loved ones who have dementias and terminal illness, as well as offering a guide for care giving. Sometimes laced with humor, sometimes laced with sadness, my books are truth with valuable insights, lessons and coping tools based on my education, experience and personal tragedies.

Along with these books there are children’s books of simple happy stories having nothing to do with illness, just fun children’s books like I remember reading when I was young.

Katie’s Journey to Heaven, my introductory book, was an inspiring gift given to me by someone I was very close to that passed away from Leukemia.  I chose this as my introductory book because of how special the story and person will always be to me. Katie is the cornerstone of my books to come and while she may not be a continued character she continues to be my inspiration.

So, pick your age group, get a book or two and enjoy. I am always here to help.
